I am glad I was able to donate my very special PT Cruiser with a lots of sentimental memories and fun to CAMH. I know it is not much but for me it meant a lot. Every little bit counts, I guess. You're very welcome...
Sincerely yours, Geza K
I just wanted to let you know that George picked up the car this morning. He did a great job and is an excellent ambassador for your organization.
Thanks for making this an easy and well run process.
Regards, Scott B.

How do you determine the value of the tax receipt?
The value of the tax receipt is determined by what is done with the vehicle once donated. All donations qualify for a tax receipt; if a vehicle is resold in its current condition the tax receipt will be for the full sale amount, otherwise the tax receipt will be for the scrap value of the vehicle.
On occasion if a vehicle is of a high value and in excellent condition an appraisal may be necessary to determine the value.
